Why real Japanese Sword Arts are needed in Boston and why we should avoid poorly strung together rip offs of traditional combat arts, and watered down into crap like Shinkendo!

Boston Shinkendo

In today's world of Fake News, manipulative communications, bogus marketing, and wackjob dojos.... it is now more important than ever to absolutely AVOID McDojos and stupid martial arts schools at all costs.

If a sword school claims to be traditional Japanese dojo, that means its steeped in the culture and tradition of Japan.

It does NOT mean its some made up crap developed in the 1990 in Los Angeles by a guy who happens to be Japanese and loosely strung together techniques from mostly Toyama Ryu, and Yagyu Shinkage Ryu, and plays them off as their own.

Real Japanese sword arts go back centuries, real Koryu dojos have strong traditions, and adherence to principals and code.

Have you read any of the insane goings on at these wacky Shinkendo dojos? Especially in the Boston area?

Man or man, if that is a traditional Japanese sword school then I'm a penguin!

Hey, people are welcome and free to do what they want, train where they want to train and believe whatever BS they want to believe, but don't be shocked when your Fake Martial Art or baloney marketing strategies are called out for what they are.

Even more so when actual real life experiences of former students are shared on social media and well respected websites.

To each their own view, that is what is great about America, here you can be a moron if you choose, and you can follow even greater morons and call them sensei!

#BRINGIT!
